Easy Vegan/Plant-Based Pizza

RECIPE BELOW! Pizza Night, made easy! (And healthier — WITHOUT sacrificing taste!) Here’s my SUPER EASY “let’s buy all this because I need to make this fast” pizza night vegan pizza recipe!

We started regular pizza nights here since having the baby. The kids love making their own, and I LOVE the taste!

I’m super picky when it comes to vegan cheese. I don’t like most all vegan cheeses at pizza places I’ve been to. Everything changed when I tried the Miyoko’s Mozzarella *insert “Hello” Lionel Richie 🎶 *

It tastes amazing and is so velvety UGH! So good. (Thank you, @miyokoscreamery !!)

Enjoy, mes amis!

We love this for weeknight! Super easy, quick, little mess, and tastes GREAT! Enjoy my husband's chopping instructions on this one: "as small as you can"

Ingredients

  • Walmart brand thin-crust dough
  • Pizza sauce (I prefer simple truth)
  • Miyoko’s Mozzarella (non-negotiable)
  • Onion, “cut as small as you can”
  • Bell pepper, “cut as small as you can”
  • Garlic, “cut as small as you can”
  • Frozen spinach, steamed (or fresh)
  • finishes of choice (oregano, red pepper flakes, vegan parm, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 Fahrenheit. Bake the crust (just the crust) for 5 min.
  2. Assemble pizza: sauce, moz, sprinkle veggies.
  3. Bake @ 450 Fahrenheit for 5-10 min on a cookie sheet or pizza stone, until cheese is melted.
  4. Sprinkle with dried oregano or toppings of choice.. Let cool slightly, then enjoy! (Or don’t wait and burn the roof of your mouth and live with that for a day— viva La pizza!)

Notes

PRO-TIP: Shred the moz OVER the pizza while really cold to evenly distribute & for best shredded results!
